How it works: Less a chatbot than retrieval over every stored decision. Ask about any learner, AC or trend and the answer comes from the deterministic marking record — the quote, the failed gate, the band reasoning — never generated fresh. Feed it emails from student-success channels, manually or automatically, and it drafts the reply from the saved reasoning; challenge the marking logic on an AC and it raises an amendment request — routed to centre admin, then applied as a numbered amendment.
What changes: Learner queries that took weeks — finding which self-employed marker graded it, chasing SharePoint folders and email threads — become same-day replies from admin or IQA. And when a moderation window or an Ofqual, Ofsted or awarding-body audit opens, the evidence pack is produced from the record, not reconstructed from memory.
